5 Lens System of Training
What sets this method apart is its multidimensional framework—rooted in five key lenses—which allows practitioners to understand, apply, and facilitate Kambo ceremonies with profound precision, sensitivity, and safety. 1. The Indigenous Lens honors the origins and ancestral wisdom of Kambo. This lens teaches students the traditional protocols, cosmology, and ceremonial context handed down by Amazonian tribes. It reinforces respect for the spiritual intelligence of the frog and the sacred nature of this medicine. Neal Henegar – Teacher

Meet Your Teacher: Neal
A Master Kambo Practitioner and leading researcher of frog medicine and Phyllomedusa peptides, Neal has earned the nickname “Indiana Jones of Frog Medicine” for his relentless exploration of the untapped healing potential of Amazonian peptides.
With a background as a Cherokee bone-setting chiropractor and co-founder of NeoMatrix Medical, a stem cell research company, Neal’s journey into Kambo began with a deep frustration over the limitations of modern medicine in addressing autoimmune and chronic diseases.
His dissatisfaction with pharmaceutical approaches led him to the Amazon, where he immersed himself in traditional Kambo practices, sitting with indigenous tribes to understand their ancestral methods of healing.
Through these experiences, Neal recognized that many tribal approaches, while powerful, were not designed to address the complexities of Western physiology, including conditions influenced by pharmaceutical drugs and modern diagnoses.
Using this insight, Neal designed a comprehensive training program to bridge these gaps, combining traditional Amazonian wisdom with an understanding of Western medical needs.
Neal’s lifelong dedication to Kambo has taken him around the world, studying with indigenous cultures and sharing this ancient medicine’s profound potential for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Meet Your Teacher: Kristina
Kristina’s journey with Kambo began during a transformative 3-day ceremony, where she sought to clear the psychological and physical blockages of grief. The experience brought her immense clarity, culminating in a profound moment on a hike in Hawaii. Before beginning her training to serve Kambo, she encountered hundreds of amphibians along her path, symbolizing her deep connection to this powerful medicine and her calling to share it with others.
For the past three years, Kristina has been serving Kambo and other indigenous medicines alongside Neal, combining her passion for healing with her expertise in herbalism, nutrition, and supportive modalities to help clients achieve optimal health during their Kambo journey.
She also plays a vital role as Assistant Teacher and Logistical Manager for the Kambo Frog Detox Trainings, ensuring that each program runs smoothly while mentoring students in the art and practice of Kambo.
A lifelong learner, Kristina has studied dozens of holistic approaches, always returning to nature and the body’s innate ability to self-heal when provided the right tools and environment.
